Membership types (voting & non-voting)
Active Membership: An active member is any person who has paid in full the fees, established by the Board of Directors and approved by the members, for curling privileges. An active member is entitled to vote, to hold office, to attend all general and special meetings, to have interest in any property of the Corporation, subject to the by-laws, and to enjoy all other privileges of the Corporation.
Associate Membership: The Board of Directors, at their discretion, may accept for associate membership any person previously having an active membership. An associate member is entitled to vote, to hold office, to attend all meetings and to enjoy all other privileges of the Corporation, except for curling privileges. Fees will apply as set out by the Board.
Life Membership: The Board of Directors may elect, by unanimous ballot vote, to life membership any person; a) who has held an active or associate membership in good standing for ten (10) years prior to this election; b) who has distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of the ideals of curling. Life members are exempt from the payment of fees, except the capital assessment fee, are entitled to vote, to hold office, to have interest in any property of the Corporation subject to the by-laws, to attend all general and special meetings, and to enjoy all other privileges of the Corporation.
Social Membership: The Board of Directors, at their discretion, may accept for social membership any person who is scheduled to have repeated use of the club for events or activities. A Social member will not be entitled to vote, hold office or attend member meetings. Fees will apply as set out by the Board.
