Surrounded by caring and attentive volunteers, your children will thrive in a safe and stimulating environment. Lead by a certified curling professional, they will be able to develop their talents while having fun.
The program is designed to be an introduction to the sport and development of skills in an enjoyable, noncompetitive atmosphere.
Little Rocks Program is for ages 6-8 and play from the near hacks. 45 minutes
Rock Stars is for ages 9-11 and use half a sheet. 60 minutes
U12/U15/U18 use the full sheet. 90 minutes
The program allows participants to play with their peers while learning the basic skills that will develop them into seasoned young curlers.
Activities include hit, draw and tap competition, skills, technical development, strategy, as well as weekly scheduled drills and short games.
The program also emphasizes safety through the use of mandated helmets for athletes under the age of 12 and recommended for all.
